GOOGLE ANALYTICS

When someone visits www.wmdc-snu.org, we used a third party service - Google Analytics - to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.

We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to certain parts of the sites, the general geographic location of visitors and other important diagnostics.

This information is only processed in a way which does not identify any persons. We do not make, and do not allow any third parties to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our site.

TICKETING DATA

When you purchase a ticket or other products online at www.wmdc-snu.org, you will be required to enter certain personal contact information such as your name, address data, email and contact numbers via the eCommerce software on our website.

Any information provided at the point of ticket sale is essential in order for us to verify purchases, ensure tickets are posted or emailed to the correct persons, and also to have a means of getting in touch with the customer should there be any important updates regarding the event (i.e. cancellation or refunds).

Please be assured that this information is privately and safely stored on our online booking software, which is password-encrypted and is only accessible by the WMDC webmaster and WMDC secretary, and all such information will be deleted within 30 days of the event taking place.

In order to OPT-IN to our mailing list, you must confirm your intention to be added to the list by either subscribing via the WMDC website, or by emailing wmdc@snu.org.uk with the Subject or Body text reading ‘Mailing List Opt-In’.
