The WMDC Healing Committee looks after Healing Mediums, Trainee Healers and their development.
Spiritual Healing is definied in the SNU Code of Conduct as:
"A form of healing by the use of forces and energies from the world of spirit, channeled through the healing medium by the laying-on of hands, or prayer or the direction of thought from a distance."

Healing in our Churches is administered by qualified Approved Healing Mediums and Award Holders of the Spiritualists' National Union.
They are assisted by Trainee Healing Mediums undertaking a two-year course of theoretical and practical training.
Joining the SNU
Healing Accreditation Scheme (HAS)
In order to join the Healing Accreditation Scheme, you must either:
Be a member of an SNU Church and have been invited to join their Healing Group.
Be an Individual Member of the SNU and be sponsored by an SNU Approved Healer who will oversee your training.
Register with and pay for the SNU Healing Training Scheme via your Church.
Register with the SNU Exponents Committee before your period of training begins by completing a Registration Form and returning it completed along with the initial registration fee (see below).
Objectives of the SNU
Healing Accreditation Scheme
To ensure that healing mediums registered with the SNU Exponents Committee have undergone a procedure of training, education, experience and assessment, whereby they can demonstrate a level of knowledge and skill sufficient to attain an Approved Healing Medium status as determined by the Committee, and in line with the minimum standards of UK Healers Regulatory Body.
On satisfactory completion of training and an upgrading assessment, the trainee will be recommended by the Assessment panel to the SNU Exponents Committee to be upgraded to Approved Healing Medium status and possess the skill and practical experience needed for the practice of healing in the United Kingdom and within the SNU.
Initial Fee for Registering with the SNU Exponents Committee
UK Applicant (excluding personal accident cover): £71.50
UK Applicant (including personal accident cover): £76.50
Overseas Member: £68 (no personal accident cover/ professional indemnity)
